Just announced today that a final 13 episode season of The Clone Wars will premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 7th. In addition all the episodes from the first five seasons – including director’s cut extended episodes – will also be available. We were sad to see the show end so we are definitely excited to see these episodes. Of course it is even better for us since it does look like part of this group will be the Yoda arc that we mentioned previously. The first official sneak-peek – shown below – features Yoda receiving a “visit” of sorts from an old friend. To read the release on StarWars.com click this link.

James Burns from JediNews was at the UK Toy Fair last week and posted a recap of the things he saw over at StarWars.com which you can see here.
In addition, there is a more extensive photo gallery to go along with the recap on the JediNews site which you can see here.
- Chubbie Nesting Doll set from Together Plus – Yoda with Mace Windu & Obi-Wan Kenobi. (This was our favorite item shown.)
- Bladez Radio Control Yoda with sound features (No pics unfortunately, but we definitely can’t wait to see that.)
- A magnet set and height chart both with Yoda from Paladone.

Following up on our post from last week, the Dagobah Swamp Masters jerseys from Geeky Jerseys are now available for sale. They have also done some updating to the jersey. The colors now reflect Dagobah’s true slimy mudhole environment with more brown. Also changed was the numbering from the previous “swamp” style versions to plain block numbers.
The price is $99 which includes full customization of any name and number you wish. Order yours here.

Obviously this is just a rumor at this point, but Cosmicbooknews.com is reporting that Yoda could appear in next year’s Episode VII – yes it is still weird and wonderful to say that. They speculate that it would be as a force ghost in a sequence where he talks to Luke. It certainly sounds good to us; We’re definitely not going to say no to more Yoda.
They go on to say that there may also be scenes with holographic images of some other Jedi. One of the first thoughts we had early on when there were rumors of some prequel actors wanting in the new movies was for them to use holocrons for this. They haven’t been in any films, but were introduced during The Clone Wars so they are part of the “official” universe.
Regardless of how it is will be done, you can read their full story here.

Finally a Yoda jersey from the great folks at Geeky Jerseys! We’ve been waiting and asking for one of these to come along ever since the first time we saw one of their jerseys. However, this one is not available for purchase yet, it’s being listed as a ”by demand” item. What that means is that we all need to go to their site and let them know that we want this jersey made. The details can be found through this link. While you are there check out some of their other designs.

Due for release next month is this shirt from Previews. As you can see it gives you a chance to wear Yoda on your back just like Luke did while training on Dagobah. It’s not the first time this design has been done, but this one does look pretty well done. Check with your local comic store or online retailer to see if you can still order it.

In a feature over at StarWars.com the editorial staff huddled to discuss — in a committee — various topics relating to a galaxy far, far away. Today they looked at the most memorable quotes from the Emperor’s “little green friend.”
Hard to disagree with the quote the chose for #1 being the best so we won’t try. The list can be seen here.

As we first mentioned during Celebration Europe there was to be a Yoda story arc. This clip has floated around for a while, but we only just got wind of it (h/t to jedinews.co.uk) this week. There are no wookiees seen, just Yoda and Anakin so it’s unknown for sure if it is part of that arc or not. Hopefully as this clip does exist we’ll get to see more of this episode – or possibly episodes – once all the remaining Clone Wars content is released.
